Um den einstigen Herrscher der H\u00f6lle steht es nicht gut. Er ist ein ungepflegter d\u00fcrrer Mann mit roter Wallem\u00e4hne und Vollbart, der keine Ahnung hat, wer und wo er ist. Nur eins wei\u00df er sicher, er muss von dort entkommen. Doch was immer er auch tut, er landet immer wieder an diesem Ort, an dem ihn jeder zu kennen scheint.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wie schon bei Paninis anderes Lucifer-Reihe, sind auch hier nicht mehr alle erschienen B\u00e4nde auf Deutsch lieferbar und so musste ich beim ersten auf die englische Version zur\u00fcckgreifen. Dabei sind mir so einige Dinge aufgefallen. Die Originalb\u00e4nde haben einen Untertitel, der bei uns schlichtweg fehlt, dabei machen „The infernal Comedy“, „The divine Tragedy“ und „The wild Hunt“ durchaus Sinn. Au\u00dferdem unterscheiden sich die Cover bei Teil Eins und Zwei, das dritte ist dann wieder gleich. Insgesamt gefallen mir die englischsprachigen Ausgaben besser, mit einer Ausnahme, das Papier ist hier sehr d\u00fcnn, zumindest da hat Panini die Nase vorn.^^
\nAu\u00dferdem entsprechen die ersten 40 Seiten haargenau der deutschen Ausgabe von „Sandman Universe“, ein bisschen veralbert komme ich mir da schon vor, denn h\u00e4tte ich das gewusst, h\u00e4tte ich mir das d\u00fcnne B\u00fcchlein nicht zugelegt. Allerdings muss ich gestehen, ich wei\u00df nicht, ob es nur in der Vertigo-Ausgabe so ist und bei Panini gesplittet wurde.
\nAber auch der eigentlich blonde Herr der H\u00f6lle hat mich verwirrt, denn hier ist er pl\u00f6tzlich eine ungepflegte, rothaarige, klapprige Gestalt, die erst einmal herausfinden muss, wer und wo sie ist. Das ist ein toller Einstieg in eine Geschichte, passt aber irgendwie nicht zum hinterlistigen Sandman-Lucifer, auf dem er ja aufbaut. Wenigstens Mazikeen, seine „Dienerin“ ist mit von der Partie, auch wenn man kaum verstehen kann, was sie von sich gibt. Ja, sie hat nur noch ein halbes Gesicht und spricht deswegen undeutlich, aber muss man wirklich versuchen, das Genuschel in Worte zu fassen? Ihre \u00c4u\u00dferungen sind nur sehr schwer oder eben gar nicht verst\u00e4ndlich, das hat man vorher besser gel\u00f6st. Daf\u00fcr sind die Illustrationen toll, so richtig sch\u00f6n dreckig und d\u00fcster, passend zum Geschehen und auch die Charaktere, besonders John Decker haben Potenzial. Ein abgewrackter Ex-H\u00f6llenfirst ist mal etwas anderes, schauen wir mal, was mich in der Fortsetzung erwartet.

Der erste Band von Lucifer l\u00e4sst mich ein wenig verwirrt zur\u00fcck. da er nicht so recht zu den vergangenen Ereignissen zu passen scheint, aber daf\u00fcr bietet er genug Stoff f\u00fcr eine ganz neue Geschichte. Ich bin gespannt, in welche Richtung sich die dann entwickelt, denn eine Bar wird dieser Lucifer hier wohl kaum betreiben. Ganz \u00fcberzeugt hat mich der Einstieg allerdings nicht und so vergebe ich 3,5 von 5 Miezekatzen.<\/span><\/p>\n
